
WAAF Agro Ltd, an importer, distributor, and retailer of agricultural inputs including fertilizers, has donated inputs to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in support of the 41st National Farmers’ Day, scheduled to take place in Ho in the Volta Region on 5th December 2026.
WAAF Agro, whose mission is to provide crop- and soil-specific agro-inputs that are easily accessible and readily available to farmers across West Africa, donated items valued at Forty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢40,000) to support the national celebration.
According to Wofa Kwadwo Addo, Managing Director of WAAF Agro Ltd, the company has consistently supported Farmers’ Day at the district, regional, and national levels each year. As an input dealer, he assured farmers of WAAF’s continuous commitment to supplying quality soil-specific inputs to strengthen Ghana’s agrifood systems and improve farmers’ livelihoods.
He commended farmers for their dedication and encouraged other stakeholders to follow suit to ensure a successful and meaningful Farmers’ Day celebration.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Minister, Hon. Eric Opoku, the Chief Director of the Ministry, Mr. Paul Siameh, expressed gratitude to WAAF for its generous contribution. He noted that farmers will receive the items on the day of the celebration and that the company will be duly acknowledged.
Mr. Siameh also urged other stakeholders to support Ghana’s hardworking farmers as a way of appreciating their contribution to the nation’s food security.
